anybody think Inky Johnson's moved Kurot Garland enough to get him back on the field?

or was it just be coincidence ? I"m over the hill, but Inky is a blessing to the World and I am proud he is all vol. But he brings back great memories of playing ball.

He missed all of spring and most of fall camp. He isn't going to see much, if any playing time anytime soon.
Maybe not, but we are thin there, so wouldn't hurt to get him in now with practices and ready to go in case of injuries as the season progresses.

I think Garland just realized that he wasn't going to get many bites, and he was going to get playing time, with Gooden injured, and Solomon not being eligible.
