My brother was the exec of the 1st of the 101st in Desert Storm. He was an Apache pilot.

He probably knew (knows) my brother-in-law, he was an Apache pilot with the 101st during Desert Storm

The 101st has always seen a lot of action in every conflict since ww2. Vietnam? Oh my gawd. Growing up as a kid in Clarksville they were a big part of that town. Ft. Campbell was basically a part of Clarksville.

As a youngster used to see the 101 guys come thru Greydog station in downtown Nashville going on leave. Squared away dress right dress. Going back to the base, not so much. MP's had a real presence to help matters along.
