In the first three quarters we had 10 possessions. Nine of them lasted under 2 minutes.
Two ended in touchdowns, one in a field goal.
One ended in a fumble and score for the other team.
Two possessions ended on downs.
We accomplished a mere 16 first downs.
Time of Possession was a loss at only 25:22.
3rd downs were 4/16, 4th downs 2/4.
We entered the Red Zone 1 time the entire game. Scored on that possession.
Bama entered the Red Zone 7 times and scored on all of them.
We had zero sacks, they had two.

How depressing. Glad we managed the game.

It sure did not seem like we did that well watching the game.
It was total domination by a vastly superior team.
Our defense is bad, offense worse.
The talent gap everywhere is glaring vs the dogs and tide.

Pitiful. Can't believe we weren't more successful running the ball on third and long against Bama lol
Had we came out with AIR JG, Wee Little Nicky would have brought the heat like the dogs did in the second half. I suspect everyone knows how that would have turned out. I don't see how we had any other options than running the ball and trying to eat clock. We were outclassed at every position. Anyone not wearing orange colored shades can see it. We had a snowball's chance in July.

4/16 on 3rd down conversions
1/10 possessions lasting over 2 minutes
13/24 for 162 yards passing against a team whose #1 weakness is stopping the deep ball...

And the narrative is "good boy, QB1". You didn't give more points to the other team than you scored for yours.

The entire coaching staff owes the fan base an apology for this garbage.

I still cannot understand why our strategy wasn't to shorten the game. I would have instructed JG to take that play clock down to 1 on every single down! Knowing what we have and what we are actually capable of, and knowing the potency of Alabama's offense, the absolute last thing we should've done was go to a no-huddle, hurry up offense! Completely moronic strategy going into that game! Look I get that we weren't going to win anyway, but I would have absolutely mitigated the advantages they had over us as much as I could. Going no huddle played right into their hands.

So why the hurry up O so much?
