Because Bowling Green is being referred to as "perhaps the worst football team in the country" Tenn wont get much love if they did put up 60+ poiints. However, even against a lesser opponent (dare I say that?) we need to show organization, discipline, talent, and the framework on which to build. How many times - so many - have we come out of the gate struggling against a "lesser team"? In most of those cases, one could tell the year was going to be a struggle.......and it was. You could definitely walk out of that BG game depressed if you see a poorly run gameplan/poor defensive execution, etc.

I will be very happy if we put up 40 vs BGU and run for 150+.
I will be unhappy if we put up less than 30 offensively and have 2 or more TOs.
I will be happy if we keep BG under 14.
I would be happiest with a win and if two dif style qbs do so well that Pittsburgh has to have a D game plan for both.

it's fun talking about blowing out teams like Pitt, UCLA, NC state but the way my mind works, I'm always circling back to the big 3. I think CH is going to beat one of them year 1 and im guessing UF...and BIG.

Not saying yes or no but it is very very possible that we could do it and it would be BY DESIGN. Think about that Tennessee is now a high powered offensive football team TENNESSEE. I don't think it has quiet set in yet for a lot of people we are no longer going to be boring.

For once in the past 30 or so years I'd really like to believe that maybe, just maybe, we finally have a coaching staff that can get the team prepared to play against inferior opponents so we don't play down to their level. That would sure be progress.
