anybody have any inside information on any of them and how they are leaning about returning or not?

lol love the dramatics of the post.

Mays, Mincey/Spraggins and McCoy are needed. Those three or four could elevate the offense enough to look similar to 2022. What will actually determine “the hopes and dreams?” An evolution of the offense with Nico mimicking Hendon Hooker in 2022. If that happens, then playoffs are likely.

Spraggins' draft stock has dropped, and he is listed as the 330 draft prospect. Mincey comes in at number 388 and McCoy is 394. Mays and Pili would be listed as past 400.
Keep in mind, Mr. Irrelevant was draft position 259. Trying to get into the NFL would be a major risk for the players you mentioned. Next season would bring an opportunity to improve and perhaps get drafted, instead of hoping to catch on as an undrafted free agent.

Bru is the only one that is a question I think. If I were an NFL team, I'd love to have a physical WR who will willingly block and make contested catches with his speed. It depends on how he's recovering from his injury.

We need a Hyatt too though. White is good, but not the homerun threat that Hyatt was. Dude just told his defenders, I'll see you in the endzone lol

* For those that aren't aware. Just because a player participates in Senior Day, doesn't mean they
cannot return if they have Covid-19 eligibility still.

I get why Bru is anxious. Bryce Young was a Junior at Mater Dei High School, Bru McCoys senior year there. Bryce Young is now a rookie QB in the NFL.

However he needs to stay one more year and play with Nico. It was unfortunate for him last year all around.

I think he'll be a 1,000 yard WR with Nico as his QB.

I think Mincey always planned to be back. Campbell was a surprise.

People don’t realize, Heupel is quietly building one of the better Olines in the country through recruiting as well. This class is really good and we could land the top uncommitted OT in the country tonight. Tennessee has had some really high quality Olinemen on campus the past couple of recruiting cycles.

I guess the better ? is who on the Oline will definingly not be back. I know Addison and the other guy Mo that played maybe a few plays portaled. So who of the rest will not be back for 2024?

Agree. I also think he understands this. He won't be in a position to increase his draft stock at the combine, he loves Tennessee, he can come back and play with Nico, who will make him look better than Joe did. It makes sense. Bru seems like a smart dude.

Ollie Lane, Mo Clipper, and Addison Nichols, as of right now.

There is so much roster movement for all teams nowadays that you really can't draw many conclusions about the prospects for the next year until at least after the post-spring portal period closes and you have a 98% idea who has returned or has transferred where.

Barring unexpected changes to draft stock or some NIL miracles, everyone mentioned here plans to return. Mincey and Cooper each need cleanup surgery. Bru will not be rehabbed in time for the draft etc. Pilli is recovering and will return. Outside chance the Cooper goes, but as of now they’ll all be back.

If that stays true we should have an experienced Oline and some depth with Dayne Davis filling in some as backup. If we could pick up a portal like we did with Mincey that would help.
