Which Bowl games are you watching?

Do you think FSU even has a chance? They probably lose that game by 3 or 4 TDs.
Not at all but I think between that and the UT Iowa game I'll get to witness at least one epic seal clubbing. Sometimes it's nice to see a drubbing or two. FSU has a good defense which is why they survived FL and Louisville games. But unless something really changes the 2 QB's they have available are....just bad. UGA will stomp them silly.

FSU's only chance is that the disinterested UGA shows up.

If you like defense, the Las Vegas Bowl between Utah and Northwestern should be awesome. If either team hits 300 total yards, it will be a major surprise.

The Pop-Tarts Bowl (Kansas St vs NC State) has the potential to be a great matchup. I'd be surprised if it isn't relatively close.

The Gator Bowl could be a barn burner if clumsy Clemson shows up. If the Clemson that beat Notre Dame and UNC is there, then UK is going to have a bad time.

The Cure Bowl (Appalachian St vs. Miami (OH)) has potential.

Notre Dame and Oregon State in the Sun Bowl should be close throughout.

Of course the Vols-Iowa bowl and the two playoff games are at the top of the list. But here are four others I'm also driven to watch:

22 Clemson vs Kentucky seems hilarious to me ... like, Oh yes, Clemson, you have fallen this far, so far that you're matched up with one of the perennially worst teams in the SEC. Haha. Funny thing is, it might be a good game!

9 Mizzou vs 7 Ohio State seems to me a HUGE mis-match. Like, I'd expect the Buckeyes to run roughshod over the Tigers. Then again, I've been underestimating Mizzou all year. I just can't adjust to the apparent fact that they are legit good this year. Well, let's see. Here's a good litmus test.

23 Liberty is going to get gobberstomped by 8 Oregon. I mean, humiliated. Happens every year, it seems, some little G5 school finds a way to be the tallest midget, goes undefeated, and thinks they can stand with legit P5 teams, then gets shown reality in a bowl. Does it turn out the other way once in a while? Of course, certainly, but only when the players of the P5 program don't show up interested in winning (see UCF 2017 with a lacksidasical Auburn).

But the best of the four is:

6 Georgia vs 5 FSU ... this one might truly be a national title game. If FSU somehow figures out a way to win (imho, that only happens if the UGa players all mail it in), you betcha they'll be imitating 2017 UCF and lifting a non-CFP imaginary national crown onto their their own heads.

Go Vols!

They play great defense which means they can hang with anybody.
Only issue is that a lot of those starters are draft prospects, so don’t know who may opt out. Although, them getting shafted by the committee may entice some of them to play and try to prove a point.

I think the early games are not too interesting. All of the games on January 1st look really good. I am especially looking forward to see how Florida and South Carolina do in their bowl game.

its college ball, still for a time anyway, so I watch them all. I've watch 186 college games this fall.

UGA defense will need to generate some of those TDs or give offense great field position to be 4 TDs. UGA only scored 24 points against Bama not saying FSU is Bama but neither UGA or Bama have been untouchable this year.

if UGA gets in backfield with pressure then I can see 4 TDs if defense is basically responsible for 2 of them.

The real turd in the punch bowl on all the non-playoff bowl games is how many players opt out. That could have big impact on a number of these games and makes the early betting lines more fragile/unpredictable.
