Him and Fischer’s name didn’t pop in the portal officially until today.

Listened to a podcast Chase Parham was on. He wasn’t reporting it, but said he’s hearing Tennessee for Fischer. Indicated Ole Miss thought there was some tampering going on.

It’s a a fix that stops the bleeding temporarily.
The same thing happened with the Tennessee soccer program.
We were getting close to becoming one of the best teams in the country.
The coach pulled a Kiffin and left us in a bad spot unexpectedly.
Players wanted the assistant to take over when Pensky left for FSU. It was a happy story for our players.
All the elite players ended up leaving the following year, most to follow Pensky.
It’s a quick fix that doesn’t work.
LV have taken a huge step back and in the meantime, former coach has a National Championship at FSU and 3 of our best players.
Expect the elite players to bolt next year and bet you Vitello will have them begging to come for 2026 if they have eligibility.

We don't NEED to, but neither did Alabama in football. Yet they still did. All great programs do.

Well, there was that issue with Maui Ahuna that cost him part of the season. I would think that episode was a learning experience for the staff, but also serves to fan the suspicions of other fanbases.

That wasn’t tampering though, we simply bought his plane ticket for the visit before we had his transcripts on file from KU. That seems like a stupid rule.

I’m not gonna pretend to know the ins and outs of baseball recruiting. I just know that there has always been tampering going on. Between all programs. In all sports. Especially now since you can transfer unlimited times.
