KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee shortstop Dean Curley joined an already impressive list of Volunteers who have garnered postseason honors as the California native was tabbed a second-team Freshman All-American by D1Baseball.com.

Curley is the seventh UT player to earn postseason All-America recognition and the second to receive Freshman All-America accolades, joining pitcher Dylan Loy, who garnered the same honors from the NCBWA back in June.

Nice! Where does he play positionally next season. Louisville transfer and Antigua(sp) all 3 can't play on left side unless the shift is employed. Who takes CeMos place at 2nd? Enquiring minds want to know.
Depending on his throwing power, I put Antigua(sp) at short and Curley at third. If he can't throw well enough from the hole, put him a second and leave try the new guy at short (Curley still at third) I think Curley as a natural for third. As to second - defense can be easily replaced as it has been just average. BUT and it is a big but replacing offense, well good luck.
