Not as loud as an enclosed stadium but that many people in one place is gonna be loud. Plus the seats are literally right on top of the sidelines

Loud enough to affect the game, the only important consideration. The narrow sidelines are the biggest unique factor to the stadium.

I have gone up there for games a few times in the last decade or two.

First things first-it ain't Neyland, but it's plenty loud. Once you get to a certain level you're splitting hairs.

As someone has already said, the stands slope in a way that ends just behind the visitors bench

Add in their first SEC game. Add in Heups return. Add it's a night game in September.

It's gonna be plenty loud and whether that is by design or circumstance doesn't really matter in the end.
