Yeah, more like, they developed a relationship around campus and on PR events. Rick was impressed with his basketball knowledge and him, period. An opening popped up and Barnes thought he could get the job done, imo.Guess it’s possible, but to me highly unlikely CRB would agree with there being any kind of verbiage in a contract.
Maybe a let’s run it by our players and if they agree a trial period. Still unlikely tho. Jmo
I agree with this, probably something akin to getting to know a graduate assistant and coach likes what he see knowledge and leadership wise. Coaches start their journey usually un-noticed until they have a few promotions. He had 6 years DII experience at Glenville State and D1 assistant at Marshall for 1 year.Yeah, more like, they developed a relationship around campus and on PR events. Not sure I see anything weird about it, and it is certainly nunma…it is kinda weird if you look at their resumes from 20-18 to now they have always coached at the same school. Looks like they both played at Glenville State in 2011 and are both from West Va. They got married in 2023 When they were both coaching at Marshall.
