A few uninformed comments on the OU game. First of all, I think it was a first class win. I'd be happy if we beat Alabama and Georgia in the same way. It was obvious from the start that OU had a withering defense. A wide open game could have cost us. Niko was harried on almost every snap. He conducted himself cooly and played within himself. How long has it been since a victory has depended on a Tennessee defense? CJB has proved that he can adapt to every game situation. Many of us got spoiled by blowout wins on inferior teams. As for OU in the SEC I don't believe it is all good. They will probably establish themselves as a dominant team and we will have more obstacles than every to a SEC title. Thank you Vols for an intelligent and hard fought win!

UT beat the dead horse of running up the middle too much, which resulted in too many punts and unfinished drive. Better teams will make you pay for that. How conservative Heupel got was a little uncharacteristic of him.
