It has been crazy in North Carolina with flooding and the dam breaking, closing the interstate, East Tennessee towns being evacuated.
I consider us blessed that the Vols are fortunate enough to have a bye this weekend.

I’m in Ocala, FL, my wife and I feel blessed as the hurricane just missed us. I have friends that are dealing with a lot due to property damage and power outages. Prayers for all.

We live just south of Myrtle Beach and had some rain and wind this morning - but then a beautiful sunny day. Family and friends in Unicoi, Carter and Washington counties, however, are dealing with a disaster. I never thought my family in the mountains would be the ones impacted by a hurricane while we're at the beach and in the clear.

Between Sarasota and Ft. Myers. Wind was unrelenting yesterday. Some area flooding due to high tide and onshore wind in early morning hours Friday.
Prayers for those affected. DeSantis needs to make a stand with insurance co's down here!!!

There were lots of warnings about dam breaches, failures, and spillway openings.
We dont know if everyone heeded those warnings.

Take care. My daughter is just south of you and despite losing her garage in a tornado, the loss of power with 4 kids is rough, and I have found 1 restaurant open to tell em where they can go. She doesn't expect power for another week at least.

Built a building in Gray Court some years ago. (fair sized food processing plant; when coming in from the north, just before edge of town, cross the rr track and on the left a little way down toward the interstate) Wonder how that little rail road town faired.

I live in Asheville, left Wednesday when I saw storm predictions. Asheville is devastated. Erwin Tennessee, devastated. Chimney Rock, practically gone. Pray for everyone, ya’ll.

Broad River jumped 10' in 2 hours and overtopped the dam.

Downtown Newport is also completely under water.
This is all so heartbreaking.
