Just told someone the other day that was bashing him that we would’ve been screwed without his play. He does the best with the skills God gave him and I for one am VERY proud to call him a vol. He was going in against one of the best D-lines in the country.

Dayne is really tough kid and has played a key role in a lot of games. As the article says he is the safety valve for any position of need. As a coach, having a player reliable like that makes your life so much easier.

Someone who will always treasure his time as a Vol with the utmost appreciation, I would assume more so than someone who was a highly recruited prospect. Hard work pays off, handsomely in this case. Forever a Vol. GBO.

Dayne was a preferred walk off in 2020 and was placed on scholarship in December 2020 without playing a single down. Not sure I think of him as a walk on but I certainly appreciate his effort. I will give my all for Tennessee today
