I know fees aren't included but I would thing they will only go lower getting closer to K0.

Some others unbelievable:

UCLA at PSU- $27, KO is at noon which means the Bruins are playing at 9 in the morning their time

Mizzou at A&M $33

Auburn at UGA- $62 for the South's longest rivalry- Correction $82

Love this one, traditional ACC game, Va Tech at Stanford- 3 whole dollars

Clemson at FSU, you know the 2 teams too good for the ACC- $30

Iowa-tOSU in the Horseshoe- $20

Which just goes to show, ticket sellers' greed is why we see exorbitant prices. Then, when no one buys unsold tickets, they desperately lower prices. Those are the thieves. I'm glad to see fans are able to get tickets within the sensible range of prices, even $150 would be fine, I think. Rather than some $600 - $800, and above. Especially when stadiums are often built with the help of taxpayer's money. Makes me think of my last car purchase. Dealer rep kept tacking on fees for stuff I told him I didn't want or need. Long story short, sale pitched how it was necessary blah blah. I politely told him how much I appreciated him time, got up and started walking. Never saw so much fawning, cajoling, assuring, to get me back into the office to make the sale happen. Got what I wanted without the junk fees, joke add-ons etc.

If the ticket price is too expensive, then don’t go to the game- simple as that. I’m sure the sellers won’t lose sleep as many are season ticket holders.

Ticket prices are base off simple economics- supply and demand. Ticket prices decreased for the games mentioned by OP because one of the teams are struggling.

I brought this up before, but I encourage anyone profiting off ticket sales to donate some of the proceeds to the victims from Helene - Even it’s $10-.

I’m curious here. Back in the day I snagged $20 tickets to the Sugar Bowl in which LSU played (after they beat us in ‘01) 5 minutes into the first half by walking up to a scalper in the lobby at the Hyatt Regency.

Has anyone tried buying tickets after kickoff to some of these high dollar games? I’m tempted to just go tailgate and wait until after the game starts to buy tickets.

There was a day the university was handing out free tickets at the gate right at kickoff just to inflate attendance. Thankfully, those days are gone at UT.

If you can’t afford the game, don’t go. You always complain about something beyond the game itself.

And again, don’t go to the game if you can’t afford to buy a ticket. Simple!
1. wasn't talking about myself.
2. I was talking about the businesses practices of ticket vendors.
3. And why increasing numbers of customers are turning away from them.
4. My advice to you and your feigned self-righteousness, is to dismount your:

Again, don’t go to the games (not you personally) if you can’t afford it! It’s simple silly and demand.

I’d love to go to the Super Bowl but admit the ticket prices are too high for me to attend.

The same goes for concerts and other forms of entertainment.

Again, not intended towards you.

Before the Arkansas game, folks complained about the single I advertised for sale for the Bama game.

I sold it for $500 which is a fair price imo. Some said $300-$350 was more than fair. The market said otherwise but I still sold for $500 vs 800 on secondary market.

The funny thing is Bama fans offered to pay my asking price without questioning.

I reduced to $500 so I could pocket the $$ quicker and donate a portion to those impacted by Helene.

Enjoy your day, sir. And I enjoy reading most of your posts.

Kind of dense, aren't you? Or perhaps you can't get off that horse. Hold still while I twirl my lariat, the fall won't hurt, but the landing will, as you're so high up there.

We’re good. I was irritated by some of the prior posts etc. about the single I had for sale. We’re good and I edited my posts.

Don't worry, I shot off my mouth before reading the whole message with any degree of attention. See? Told you I'm dense.

No worries.

I disagree with folks but I try not to bring tone or get personal.

At the end of the day, we want TN to win and bring home a chip!

Well, for my part, I disagree, and at times, my sharp tongue takes over. The shame is that even when doing that, I see humor in jawing back and forth.
Almost everything is funny to me. Which pizzes some folks off even more. But I admit it, cause I'm self-deprecatingly honest, too. I'm just me, I even pizz myself off periodically.
