This hurricane coming in isn't a joke....ground already soaked and this thing is a monster headed for mid Florida......I'm betting that if the Gators haven't left already they may have a hard time getting up to Knoxville after Wed.

Also, (PSA) About to head out to work the next 3 days on the road (we'll work shelters Wed night and Thurs) here in Orlando. Just wanna tell all my brothers and sisters here in Florida, been down here since 04' and this one scares me. If you haven't left, roads are already slammed and bumper to bumper so you may be better off moving inland and hunkering down. God be with us all 🙏

The hurricane has been known about for a while now. No excuse for Florida not working around it. All this is wishful thinking cause you all know Tennessee is going to get stomped on their own field by Florida yet again. They lost a ton of talent in the off season. They had major distractions this season. Their head coach is under tremedous fire. Still yet, they will come in here, complete 9 of 10 third downs and 29 of 30 pass attempts. That's the way it is. Learn it. Expect it. Live it.

Maybe Florida can let us win this one so that we can be hospitable to our guests who may get stuck in Knoxville.

Lord help us. I'm on the coast about an hour north of Tampa. Hunkering down !
I’m in Ocala. My wife and I have been here 6 weeks. Now, our second hurricane threat. Jeez! Helena missed us but devastated areas in SC, NC and TN. This monster is expected to pass just south of us. Thank goodness we are 70 miles inland. We are hunkering down. We did have time to put in 30 miles on the bike today.😎

Stay safe brother - great advice, if you can leave, do so !!!
THANK YOU too for your sacrifice to keep others safe and do the good work.

As far as travel plans for the game, I suspect that has already been in place and wouldn't be surprised if the Gators don't land in Knoxville today or tomorrow.

Then first thing you learn when you move to Florida is when/how to prep for hurricanes and where/when to evacuate. If you don’t know, your neighbors will drill it into your head. J/k. Good folks down here and we all take care of each other when storms come. It’s almost just a standard operating procedure.

Good news is projections show your area on the left side of the storm which has less rain and wind. Still some damage but not like the eye and east side. Been thru both sides.

Sitting here in Tampa myself … I will trade a few days without power and cold showers for a crushing defeat of the gators .. please and thank you … will just suck if I’m unable to watch it

You forgot, when either teams fumbles or a tipped pass it will always magically fall in a gators hands.

Stranger things have happened but the state of Florida is going to get nailed. I'm hearing the gators travel on Friday.
