Absolutely put the team on his back tonight. Kudos also to DeSean Bishop for being rock solid spelling him. Nico played better as well. CJH coached better, too. More designed QB runs (with less holding, please) and rolling Nico out will pay dividends down the road, I think. Good win!

I remember in 2022 sitting in stands at lsu and watching a young inexperienced Sampson miss a block and almost have Hooker decapitated. Strange what playing time and experience does for a player. The game will slow down for Nico soon enough and all the complaining will turn to praise. Regardless, he was the winning qb for Tennessee against Florida. Not many past Tennessee qb’s can make that claim!
