This team lost to Arky.
This team looked down against Florida, but they just kept fighting.
Didn’t look pretty, but that’s what winners do. They over come adversity.
They know that they are still alive for the playoffs.
Now, I just say let’s regroup, and get ready for Bama.
That’s all we can do at this point.
A great win, nevertheless.

Our offensive woes will catch up to us again soon enough. Can’t say enough about our defense though aside from the last FL touchdown. They’ve played their guts out every game. Offense needs to get its **** together because we’re going to have to score to keep momentum and give the defense a rest.

It would appear that games like this is going to become the norm, and not just for UT. Look at Bama struggling against South Carolina, Georgia didn’t look like world beaters against Mississippi State, and Kentucky is even struggling with Vandy.

I think they progressed from the poor Arkansas performance and the bad first half tonight.

Secondary is still terrible

They gave up that one TD but otherwise they looked great. The man coverage is much improved this year.

I do think their Zone is not great but good enough for the bend don’t break that they like.

Also an encouraging sign is that James Pearce Jr is really starting to come alive 16 tackles, 1.5 sacks, forced fumble and recovery as well as a pass deflection in the last 2 games.

This is not a bad team but definitely not what we thought a few weeks ago. Those first few wins seem like fools gold now, but man we needed this one and I’m proud they didn’t fold tonight when they could have. I’ve lowered my expectations a little so I don’t have a stroke.

Teams can’t double team him as much as the rest of the line is good enough to punish them.

No, it’s not. A few bad plays in a game does not make the secondary terrible. How about the 100 other plays when they were lock down? How about McCoy on the fourth down with perfect coverage?
