D1 Baseball Ranks UT #2 in College Baseball Programs

Hard to argue with LSU being above us. I expected us to be top 5 but a bit surprised (pleasantly) to see us at #2.

Arky must be slowly dying watching our program’s trajectory!
D1 looks at the previous 10 years but gives extra consideration to the most recent 5 years. Our last 5 years have been pretty darn impressive.

LS...WHO? Cajuns still steaming over losing in Hoover. Then, Vols go on to win it ALL. They are miserable & we know that our Diamond Vols are going to be superior in 2025. Re-Load, CTV!

This is especially galling in Fayetteville after the blowup between Vitello and Van Horn. The thing that bugs me about it is that the Vols can't seem to take a series from the pigs.

Is this like overall programs or for the season? Where was Texas on the list?
I think this ranking is a recent period (like 2-5 years but it seems to be behind the D1 pay wall).... we went from 17 to 2 since the last program ranking in 2022. Here is the criteria that they use

Didn’t SC win back to back? I guess you could argue Miss State and Ole Miss should be ahead of Arkansas since they won a title recently.
