Not every starting QB was pulled because of injury. I believe UTC and Kent put in backups as the games were completely over by half. OU switched QB's because Arnold was a turnover machine that night.

And the box score for NCSU only lists stats for McCall so I think he finished the game.

Bailey finished the game without throwing a pass. I think they were just killing time and didn't figure McCall was worth risking.

I think that's the point though. It's not bragging about injuries, it's a brag that we're also getting starting QB's benched.

I started a thread about this trend a couple of weeks ago prior to the Bama game to show how nasty our defense is. AL should have benched Milroe in the second half and put in Ty Simpson due to his weak passes, but I'm glad they didn't.
