Tony Vitello and Rick Barnes were great hires before Danny got here. But he has done a great job of giving every coach exactly what they need to succeed, retaining those guys, and has involved the fans for the best possible experience in the country with constant communication and facility upgrades. He has also been all-in with the NIL stuff and had a tremendous plan to bring in the best talent possible. Best AD in country and it’s not even debatable. The best UT hire in many years.
Dude...MY POINT was the FACT he X'd/Tweeted a "Billy Madison" Reference for his response to the announcement of the "Award"...LEGENDARY!!!I won’t disagree with the original premise. However Danny White is lucky he is at an institution which blends so well with his talents.
Don’t ever get it too twisted.
Yeah Tony Vitello was here, but didn't Danny sign Tony to a new contract. And not let him get away.Tony Vitello and Rick Barnes were great hires before Danny got here. Yes, I said he retained them and also getting approval for the Lindsey Nelson Stadium renovations so he gets a ton of credit for that. Also, some may not like the naming rights but the Food City and Pilot deals are bringing in a ton of cash. He is doing things that are in the best interest of athletics and that’s the top priority for an athletic director.Yeah Tony Vitello was here, but didn't Danny sign Tony to a new contract.
