Defensive stop rate for FBS: Tennessee on top.

I hope Banks sticks around a while.

It'd be nice to go back to how it was during the Chavis years and be able to expect really good defense just about every season.

Chavis was good for us over that period of time.
His defenses did get exposed in Prevent situations and Mustang packages from time to time, but were exposed by a mobile QB every time.

Chavis' UT defenses had a 75% percent success rate when the opponent was facing a 3rd and long situation or more precisely, a situation where the offense needed to gain 6 or more yards.
Our 2024 defense has a 74.2% overall stop rate.
Chavis deserves another look from the fanbase.
