This has been an unexpected surprise. There were times that I thought the days of selling out Neyland Stadium like this were long gone, even if the product on the field matched the heydays of 90’s. Seemed liked the climate had changed and top programs struggle to sellout due to so many factors including the economy, more choices to spend your dollars like the Titans, people watching from the comfort of home with their huge HD TVs, being able to watch multiple events at the same time, access to their internet etc. But now we are even selling out the cupcake games. Knoxville is just built differently when it comes to UT, it’s the Shangri-La of college sports imo. Our fans our special and am proud to be a Vol.

Dave Feit: The Nebraska Football Sellout Streak at 400

Well, we are on our way!!!
According to Google AI...donors bought up large amounts of tickets, I'm sure at deeply discounted prices, during losing seasons. Plus there was 2022 when it was discovered one person had bought over 2000 tickets!!!

I bet if UT got the streak North of 50, our donors and big money people would chip in to keep that rolling.

A full arena at Thompson Boling pays some bills as well.

Yep, wasn't trying to slight TBA's contribution saying TBA pays "some" bills is correct.

NCAA's new scholarship limits and reimbursement of former players will certainly have an impact down the road.
