GA vs Ole Miss - who do we need to win?

Is there a benefit to our team if GA loses today? Do we want to face them with a loss under their belt the previous week? So far, it seems like Ole Miss is playing tough.

If Tennessee loses to GA next week it'd be better for Tennessee if Georgia only had one loss. And if Tennessee beats Georgia next week it's better for Tennessee if Georgia only has one loss. So if Georgia wins, then whether Tennessee wins or loses next week, it will be a better loss or a better win. That's one perspective anyways.

Also, if Ole Miss beats Georgia and they finish the season with two losses, and Tennessee loses to Georgia and they finish the season with two losses, then it's possible that Ole Miss could get in the playoffs over Tennessee. Possible.

I agree with others that it is better for UGA to only have one loss as it relates to our SOS and the potential for resume comparisons to Ole Miss should it come down to a decision of us vs. them.

But I can’t stand their damn fanbase to the point of I hope they get their asses kicked for the next two weeks in a row.
And if we want a shot at the SECCG, they need to lose anyway.

Ole Miss at 5-3 is out of the race, leaving more room for Tennessee even if the Vols finish with two losses. Moreover, UGA with one loss will be a bigger win if UT can pull it off, and probably won't be quite as big a hit if UT takes a loss.

So. Seems like UGA is the one we want winning that game.
