I received an email a few weeks ago about how to directly donate to the baseball program: https://give.utk.edu/campaigns/42950/donations/new?designation=baseballexcellencefund

If you want to support everybody’s favorite chemistry guru, @Volprofch05, go here and pick the Chemistry Enrichment Fund: https://www.givecampus.com/campaigns/51061/donations/new?pre_launch_page_id=2971

And, if you want to support the physics department where our little buddy @MAD ‘s dad once taught, here you go and pick the Physics Enrichment Fund: https://www.givecampus.com/campaigns/51061/donations/new?pre_launch_page_id=2971

Very cool.
Thanks, I usually get an email for the soccer fund, not sure when that happens or if they didn’t send it this year

I had a physics professor. Dr. Deeds, I believe, was his name.
You have a good memory.

From my dad.
Ed Deeds very good man, he was the one who recommended I work in Oak Ridge as well. His wife died in an automobile accident. Probably he is dead by now he was about 10 years older than I.

Wow, that’s so interesting. I just remember what a likable man he was. As I’m typing this I’m remembering that he wrote me a letter of recommendation for UTHSC in 1979. Small world.

Thanks for the reminder! (Admittedly the fundraising emails get lost in the shuffle most weeks).

I don't have a ton to throw around this year, but I tossed a little to baseball, a couple of History Dept. related funds, and a couple of the student support emergency funds.

Edit: Almost forgot, the HABIT thing that the vet school does.

Its a great way to get money directly to causes that can use it.
