Kirby is going to bring the heat on the QB no matter who’s back there, I’m hoping Hype dials up the TE’s, quick slants and skinny post options on Saturday. Then a dose of D Samp since they will plan on stuffing the block early. What are your thoughts on some other options to move the ball and score?

Go 12 personnel so UGA can't count on what protection will be in effect. This also pulls the strength of UGA's secondary inside (their safeties) while leaving the weakness (the CBs) exposed.

Switch up running the TEs into the pattern and having them max protect.

The remaining problem is that UGA could still drop into zone. Nico has not shown great skill in reading zone coverage or finding creases.

UGA going to come out on D in straight up zone coverage and bring an extra LB or two to stop the run until Nico can prove he can NOT throw an interception to a zone cover man AND Sampson can prove he can still bounce to the outside and break off some runs.

I just think Nico has a problem seeing defenders if they aren't within a few feet of the receiver.

Watch the Ole Miss game. Kiffin laid the blue print offensively and exposed some issues on the defense. Play smart football and don’t kill ourselves with penalties. Finish the opening drive and aggressive play calling.

Number one, establish a running game. Even if I had to pass to set up the run, I would not abandon the running game.

If that starts working, it opens up play-action and the deeper routes in the playbook.

What I wouldn’t do in the passing game is to attack horizontally. I’d still call a fair share of WR screens. But as many of you point out, I’d also mix in quicker, verticle routes like slants, etc.

The goal is to make them respect and defend the entire field.
