Two loses

This team would be getting points against any of the top 12 teams after this performance. Why would anyone consider them for the playoffs.?
Because this game was on the road and we’re pretty much unbeatable at home and haven’t lost on a neutral field since _____ ? How would things have looked without the BS facemask or the BS fumble ruled incomplete? It was a competitive game. Beating a top SEC team on the road is something only a top 5 team can do

Why would anyone consider the other teams that have 2 losses against them for the playoffs? Step away from the loss and look at the other teams. We deserve a shot just as much as the other teams

I disagree , we would be favored against Indiana, BYU , Miami , Penn state and we already beat Alabama. It was a disappointing loss , but We are a top 12 team imo . SEC Road games are tough , especially at night .

A road game would be the best this team could hope for, end of story. The coaching staff is not up to the task. Hopefully they learned something from this loss.

Teams that drive down the field in the 4th quarter and score are playoff teams. Teams that go conservative on defense in the 4th quarter are the teams that watch the playoffs on TV.

At least 14 of their points came from the refs. True we didn’t get much pressure, but stop acting like we got manhandled. We competed. Only people we got manhandled by were the refs.

What makes you think we are better than any of them? Records matter and just being in the sec doesn’t entitle you to anything.

Penn state screams hello. Also we’ve been a second half team all season, we usually do make those plays. You need to step away from the loss, and look at the teams in the discussion for the playoffs. Did ole miss look like a playoff team against Kentucky? Did Texas look like a playoff team against Georgia? Did Georgia look like a playoff team last week?.. I get it your real emotional right now but we have a resume just as good if not better then other teams in the top 12. It’ll be okay

If this were true there would be 6 SEC teams in the playoffs but we all know the maximum is 4 regardless of the quality of the teams. This eliminates UT and we knew that going into this game. I have no idea why we decided to not bullrush their QB?

We’re not eliminated just yet . We’ll see Tuesday what the committee does with our loss. If any teams ahead of loose another we’ll get in. Still a lot can happen, does it suck we lost this one, yes. Did banks just **** the bed.. I think so, but we still ain’t out yet.

BYU and Miami play no ranked teams at all in the regular season ( unbelievable I know ) .... the only ranked team Indiana plays in the regular season is Ohio State , next week and the only ranked team Penn St. Plays in the regular season is Ohio St. And they lost to them . Strength of schedule matters also .

We competed but it was the typical blown assignments and undisciplined play that ends up costing you in games against good teams.

Say we make it into the playoffs. Are all of our games in Neyland?

We’ll probably have to travel to Notre Dame or Indiana in round one then the rest would be on a neutral field. It’s possible that we’d have to travel to Alabama for the first round. That’d be tough.

I don’t think 10-2 is going to do it with only utsa and vandy left. Even if there are some upsets with teams ahead of us, I expect us to get jumped
