I just went to the espn play off predictor. Now it was last updated November 13th but it still says the same thing this morning. Will be interesting to see what it says when they update it again

It did help because if BYU won out and lost in the conference championship they still likely make the playoffs. Unless the committee would have dropped a likely top 5 one loss BYU team completely out of the playoffs for losing a conference championship game which is not likely.
