3 Texas
7 Bama
8 Georgia
9 Ole miss

We are clearly on the outside looking in. The coaches poll was the most favorable for us last week. I’d expect playoff poll to have us at 14-16.

Take care of business in the last two games and we can come down a bit. Some underdog will win in the last two weeks of the season. It’s the way this year has gone. Ultimately, don’t lose the game against Arkansas and you’re still in the thick of it though.

If nothing else, OSU will likely beat Indiana by a few scores. So that will help.

We need OSU to dominate Indiana, but I’m not sure that will happen. Cignetti is a hell of a coach.

He’s a great coach. But it’s at the shoe and OSU will come to play. Its a huge game for them as well. Hoping for the best in our favor.

First team out is the first team in if a few things fall right. Again I think our chances of making playoffs was like 53% with a loss last night.
Yeah I don’t trust those percentages. You can never predict who will go down on any given week. Someone will lose the last two weeks and it will all sort itself out. I would rather be the first team out at this moment than be in A&M’s position where they are the 3rd team out and are forced to win against Texas just to be considered. That’s a tall task.

We are relying on Gators to beat ole miss in the swamp this weekend. 4 SEC teams will get in. Will it be us or ole miss?

I mean some of this will come down to politics as well. Big Ten gets in four it’s going to be hard; Indiana hasn’t played anyone, if Ohio state embarrasses them it would be more difficult to get them in. Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State are probably going regardless.

Those top 3 Big Ten teams are pretty much locks with where they are currently ranked, unless they just fall off a cliff. Indiana is the one team they would drop behind all the SEC teams with that SOS. Especially if they lose by multiple scores. You can’t play that soft of a schedule and completely not show up in your one opportunity and expect to get in. Unfortunately, Ohio State has had problems pulling away from some teams so I have a bad feeling that game will be close.

We should be above 3-loss (in reality) Miami. Don't really have a problem with it otherwise.
Doesn’t really matter because if they win the ACC they will be a top 4 seed, likely number 3. The most intriguing thing is going to be what they decide to do with BYU and Boise State. That was a horrible loss for BYU and they will either be one spot ahead or one spot behind Boise. Boise State is within striking distance to get a first round bye. I’m kind of rooting for it so we can all give the people who put this thing together a double bird salute. The automatic byes are beyond ridiculous. I understand the auto bids for champions but the byes are being gifted to teams that have no business deserving it.

One of Miami or SMU will win ACC other will be well below us

All Big 12 teams are ranked below us since BYU lost. So 1 of those will go in ahead of Us by being Big 12 champ.

With only 1 team from ACC and Big 12 getting in CFP pretty much guarantees at least 4 SEC teams get in.

To get 5 SEC teams in we need either Notre Dame to lose to Army or USC ..OR.. need Indiana to get beat BAD vs Ohio State.

Within SEC, We would need Texas to beat A&M cause if A&M gets in SEC championship they will probably jump us within SEC and Texas won’t fall below us even though they should. Maybe if A&M beat TX more than 3 TDs?

We can also hope Auburn upsets Bama or Florida upsets Ole Miss. both very unlikely.
