Could it be that LSU loss to Florida, that Alabama beat them, isn’t as good of a win now, and kept us there?

Problem is we are still seen as the 4th best 8-2 team.
If they are looking at Georgia beat Texas in a blow out win, and we only lost by 14 in Athens, then they could be looking at that. LSU losing to Florida, when Bama beat them bad was a bad look for Bama, but a good look for us.

FPI is a quant model. There's not a human analyzing these wins and losses. It looks at every play over the course of the season and it's adjusted for things like SoS, home field, etc.

I'm not at all surprised it didn't change after this loss. This was close to the expected outcome. The quant rankings all have Georgia top 5'ish and all had them as favorites. Expected outcome was probably a 10 point loss and we lost by 14 (not far off).

Listening to all the narratives of the media it sounds like they’re going to push 5 sec teams and they should. We got beat by Georgia in Athens and we took them to the wire, Georgia absolutely blasted Texas in Austin and that game was never in doubt.

Yea when Texas got beat by Georgia they didn't drop that far and that was in Austin. We played with the lead or within 1 possession for 3 and half quarters in Athens.
