So I’m from Lubbock, TX and have to deal with all the red raider fans here in town. I was just wondering if any of y’all besides SEC towns have to deal with being a die hard fan but feeling like all these people love to see us lose. I was at the bar watching our game and I will just have to watch the meaningful ones at home from now on. I watch these crappy raiders play every week and you thought we were delusional😂. They just don’t understand what it means to us or at least me. I don’t say anything when the sanders sons are scoring all over y’all. They told me that they were a louder stadium than us. Lemme know if y’all have to kinda deal with this in your city

Jones Stadium host 60k people. I'm not sure how they can honestly believe this.

Well you are better than me because we are finally able to bark back a little 😂 had to just sit there and get our butts beat for a good while. Nothing is better than seeing an Alabama fan here in town and just giving them that smirk. I am not a big conference pride guy in general but when these tech fans start to talk it’s just laughable. When we lost to BYU we were outraged and never thought that would happen. I get it that this isn’t that team but they will always be under us and we would be favored I believe. Tech fans were telling me how they could make the playoffs before Colorado came here and dealt with the “fajitas” being thrown at them. Let’s just be proud we have a chance and a good one 😏

Bout time to see these bama fans being upset at least a little. And if they ever fall on actual hard times I’ll hold every one I know to stay on the ship. They don’t know what we have been through

My own roommate swore they held 85000 😂😂 won me a little money. Like have they ever been to an actual stadium. They were too busy celebrating some new suites and almost lost to ACU that had all former players they didn’t want. We will always be a better program in everything besides meat judging. I love running baseball in their face as a last resort too ;)

Just outside of Richmond, VA. UVA fans and VA Tech fans don’t say jack to me…..

College sports aren’t anywhere near the same here as in the true South.

I have lived in South Carolina but currently am back in the motherland of East Tennessee.

I wore Tennessee gear all the time and never had anybody talk to me. My good friend's family did mention one time I was the nicest Tennessee fan they ever met. I am wondering how many Tennessee fans they ever interacted with because they lived in the sticks way outside of any town.

Greenville is Clemson's backyard has a huge mix of SEC fans. I lived near a lot of SC, UGA, and Tennessee fans.

North of Atlanta in Marietta,Ga.. lots of bandwagon bammers around here as well as bulldog fans. I used to go watch games at bars when I was younger, but I generally stay home these days if I’m not attending in person.

If you think living in an SEC town and being a fan of another SEC team spares you any abuse you just don't know. Grew up in TN, have lived in GA, FL and now AL. GA and FL were the worst. AL fan bases are divided between AU and AL so its not as bad, at least for me. TN-AU fans both hate AL so have some common fans there.

I live just south of ATL.

I've literally never had another fan say anything to me. Now I do get a Go Vols from other TN fans usually though.

I live on the New Jersey Shore, and it's mostly Notre Dame and Penn State fans who even like college sports here. NY-NJ-Philly is a primarily a pro sports area, despite what Rutgers would like to believe. Penn State alumni and fans are the most arrogant and delusional college fans I've ever come across.
