They have the same douchey coach from Austin Peay last year and he seemed to take great please in silencing the crowd and thinking he had some great super great gameplan when it was the ineptness of our defense/QB that was more responsible than anything he did. Plus His sideline antics were annoying. So I hope we are unmerciful.

"It was crazy to hear the loudest atmosphere I will ever hear in my life go silent," Goodman said. "You could hear a pin drop. It was awesome. It was absolutely insane."

The Vols should absolutely decimate UTEP for 2 reasons and I mean full-on no mercy. Think some of the stupid Ohio State scores with the pee-wee league teams they play every year. That big. 70-something to nadda big.

First, they have to win out period plain and simple. Second, because this could be a gigantic "F U" to the committee who placed bogus teams above them that will end up with 2 losses as well before the season is done because they are frauds.

Oct. 1975. Tn vs North Texas State. We lost 21-14. Pregame blather back then much like this.

To me, it really isn't 100% about scoring but rather antics. Doing the onside kick was questionable against Kent State.

If we run our offense normally and want to grow the team and score 70, so be it.

If we intentionally call plays to score when the game is clearly over, that is running it up.

Remember a team we called Ga state?
Y'all are f'in comical. If you aren't bringing up things from 50 years ago, you are bringing up things from a previous terrible football coach - one who is coaching PE at a high school now after his fraudulent run. Let's keep it to the now and with this coaching staff, which absolutely WILL NOT lose to UTEP.

UT absolutely needs to run this up as high as possible tomorrow.
Indiana is getting a CRAP TON of credit with the CFP committee for running up the score against much, much inferior opponents.

Tennessee needs to cash in on that mind set now !!!

You act as if we’re blowing the doors off of people. We’re not. I agree with you. And 99% of the time we’re going to beat those teams. But we still have to play the game. We’ve shown we’re well within our capability to play down to our competition during this coaching tenure. Bet you thought we were beating Arky by 50 to didn’t you?

We need all the style points we can get at even if it’s against a bad team to help our case for the playoffs, I suspect this game will be over before halftime. next weekend I hope that we beat little brother into submission and send them back to their rite full place, which is in the cellar of the SEC.

Our offense has sucked since then. I wonder if our woes are due to pissing off the football gods with that stunt.
