What is the square root of 1,700,321?

I’ll bet that the “experts” would try & give an answer for THAT!….

The answer is: There is no square root! — It is a PRIME number!

They may say that TENNESSEE is the First CFP team OUT.

But there’s a lot of football to be played, yet - & my math says we’re one of the First Teams IN!!!

I clicked on this hoping for a good analysis and breakdown.. yet Vol Nation wins again.

I've long been a proponent of a Volnation Lite website.........a land for misfit toys if you will......where questionable thread starting members are banished for various periods of time based on number of offenses. i.e. 1st offense 1 week, 2nd 1 month, etc. Properly vetted and agreed upon by a committee (NOT from the B1G), mind you.

You do realize that teams don’t make the playoffs based on math and are literally selected by the experts you are dismissing, correct?

I sometimes would question if those selecting these teams are "experts". I think they are easily influenced by emotion and pumping up the B1G while pumping down the SEC.

They use math. Quite a bit I would imagine. My problem is that the SOS isn’t mathing. I hope this isn’t reflected in their final rankings. Right now it appears that the SEC is getting kinda screwed bc we are cannibalizing each other. How many B1G schools can play with or beat the top half of the SEC? Oregon, OSU, Penn St? Maybe Indiana?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m pulling for Indiana, I hope they destroy tOSU and make the Playoff.

You had me until you uttered the 4-letter word "committee".

Not me. I'd love nothing more than to see Cignetti get a 52-0 beat down.

And not because of UT, but to make the point about that joke conference the national media and "committee" insist on equating with the SEC.

You do realize that the Indiana coach called out Bama and the Georgia for playing "weak" teams?

As an east tn native who went to a Big ten school, I will tell you Indiana with Georgia schedule has four losses. Now, they had teams scheduled who were worse than usual and like Texas, simply played the teams in front of them

They will get their moment this week to prove themselves, but I am not optimistic for them

I wish there was a formula like a teacher breaks down a final grade.

The mid-term is 30%
The group project is 20%
Your homework is 10%
The Final 40%

I don’t think it needs to be much more complicated.

I’m sure there is some math involved in someway, but there is no mathematic formula to get in. It’s a subjective selection.

No I didn’t.

Basically, pointing out that FCS teams that Bama and Georgia have played as well as the Vandy loss to Georgia State in reaction to those poking at the IU schedule.

Really crazy because Georgia has played the most difficult schedule of all teams in college football verses IU who has not yet played a ranked team.
