I hope not. I think playing slow and changing how we play is how we give Baylor confidence and momentum. They can’t keep up with our pace. Keep pushing it. If you blow a 27 point lead, then we have bigger concerns than just coaching adjustments.

Not so much going slower, but not taking shots immediately. Don’t want to shoot our way out of the 25 point lead which can disappear quickly if Baylor heats up.

Just have to remain balanced. Basketball is typically streaky. Slow it down maybe a touch, while staying plenty aggressive

I think he compares more favorably to Chris Lofton than Knecht, but man can he shoot and that release is lightning quick.

There’s only 1 DK. 3 level player and already lighting it up in the NBA. Love how Chaz is playing though.

Knecht is a better all around offensive player and can get his points from anywhere on the court. Lanier seems to be predominantly an outside shooter who can also get points driving because of his size. He also seems to be a little better defensively that Knecht.

Not sure I agree on the defensive end. Knecht had length to affect shots and make up ground when beat that Lanier doesn't have.

If Chaz can start hitting that pull up jumper, that puts him at a different level. Close to DK, but still not sure he has top out ability, mainly just because of DK ability to get all the way to the rim and explode. But Lanier is quick enough and strong enough to drive by his man, he just has to be able to finish those jumpers.

He's close to Lofton status with his outside shooting. He's that good.

Chaz didn't have someone literally up in his face, all the time, until 2nd half. Damage was already done! That was as pure as anything I have seen on a basketball court. 6 of his 7 never hit the rim. Just a brushing at the BOTTOM
