Aside from all the cfb playoff talk, am i the only one who thought kirk was going to cry when the gumps td was called back? It was a bad call but didn't matter overall. Their bias is unmatched. They literally talked about calling the home office. Seeing abalama come off the rails is priceless. GBO

The only thing better is watching the inbreds eat their own on the internet!
He mentioned calling SEC office like 3 or 4 times

I couldn't stop laughing

Some of y’all are ridiculous. He’s not biased for calling out the refs there. That was an absurd call. The refs literally made up a penalty to wipe off a TD.

Kirk was exactly right. He was doing his job. You not liking Alabama doesn’t make him wrong for calling out that abysmal call. If that was Tennessee, you’d be crying that he didn’t condemn it hard enough.

Agree. Was a TERRIBLE call. I think KH handled it appropriately.

I'll say this...the call was crap. No doubt about that. But there have been soooooooooooo many of those called against us and many other solid teams that play them that have affected the game it's not even funny. And I genuinely used to think Herbie was pretty balanced, always called things like he saw them and is a brilliant football mind and analyst, and still is, but his being bent towards ESPNs narrative for UGA and Bama lately is super annoying.

I don't know how any true Vol fan could think those two broadcast clowns handled last night's situation the right way. They were even threatening to call the playoff committee and demand that a 3 loss Bama be admitted into the playoffs.
Really? I turned it after the call. That’s ridiculous though as that call didn’t cost Bama the game. Are they also going to call the playoff committee about Miami being given the Va Tech game?

How many undercover Bama moles are on this board? That was the funniest thing ever that a bad call finally happened to the so called golden child and the ensuing broadcast booth meltdown that followed.

Like I said last night, horrible call but couldn’t happen to a better team. Florida would be next. Hopefully they get one at some point too.

Yes they did. "The playoff committee needs to reevaluate how they rank three loss teams" or something similar dribbled out of that clowns mouth last night.

That’s an entirely different statement than, “They were even threatening to call the playoff committee and demand that a 3 loss Bama be admitted into the playoffs.”

You’ve shown your hand.

My hand is I am a Vols fan and I hate Bama. You, Herbie and Fowler can waste all week crying for them.
A real Vols fan would think what happened last night was long overdue. The broadcast booth meltdown that followed was icing on the cake.

,” said the guy who started a thread to cry about the fact that announcers criticized a terrible call against a team you don’t like…and then made up a quote in a vain effort to support your butthurt.

I appreciate irony. Bigger fan of self-awareness, though.

That was what I heard. Some mental gymnastics started to creep in and you just knew that it was about making sure a 3 loss Bama team was in the playoffs.

I expect to hear more of this as the week opens up. There will be several calling for it and you watch more than one try to argue that Bama “deserves it more than X”.

There’s already CBS articles this morning talking about how the SEC is “painfully average” this year, so the push is on to steer the committee for several teams that arguably don’t deserve it.
