“Big road game. Playing a really good football team in Vanderbilt. You look at what they’ve done throughout the season, but statistically they do a great job of tying all three phases together. They play complementary football. They’re smart. They’re tough. They’re physical. They’re disciplined. They make you earn it. Offensively, the quarterback (Diego Pavia) is a dynamic player. It’s quarterback run game. He has unique ability to extend and make plays outside of the scope of of the play call, too. And defensively, they don’t give up a bunch of big plays. They play assignment sound. And special teams, you look at what they’re doing, punt returner (is) dynamic. And their punt game, their punter changes the field.

“So it’s a huge test for us and one we got to get prepared for and get ready for. And practice well and get ready to go play well on Saturday afternoon.”

Line is already down to 10.5, early non professional money going toward Vandy.

My question..11am kickoff… benefits which team more?

Has Heupel got an upper respiratory disease? He seems to cough a lot and needs a drink of water every so often? Just curious.
The cough wasn't there earlier in the year but has gotten worse as the season wears on.

I wonder how warm it is in the press area vs where Josh is coming from. If he's coming from the cold outside into a hot room, that's tough on someone who is having to speak because your throat dries up fast. We also don't see him coughing or wheezy at all in the required on field or at the half questions.

I think it's cold to hot. Try it. Go for a walk outside then come into a hot room and start talking for 15 minutes straight.

Aside from the opener last week was the only early game we played this year and this will be the earliest. I don't like how we came out last week. And it's going to be colder in Nashville than it was this past Saturday. Especially with the lack of feel Nico seemed to have for the ball the first couple of drives last week, that's a concern as far as I'm concerned. They need to come off the bus ready to play.

Agreed. Starting slow has been our huge consistent flaw this year. I don’t think this is a game you can do that in. If it’s close at all, advantage Vandy, even though our defense has proven we can put people away. Good point about the weather looking like 46/26 hi low so cold game. We gotta come out loose and firing, keep the Polynesian prince under the heaters and get that man some hot hands lol
