Weak sauce this week...as much as they trotted out the Vandy gimmick during the year, they should have had him on the couch being consoled by the puffy orange jacket.
I mean letting a team jump out to a 14-0 lead in the first 5 minutes of the game and then dominating to the win....that would have been classic stuff.
Could have worked in the Hope character easily as well.

Much like Texas A&M, SEC Shorts is fading late in the season.

Vandy had a good season with some very high points, but fizzled out with their depth falling off at the end. If we played them like we did Arkansas during the time in the year when we did, they might have taken a win even. As much as I love to dump on Candy too, this season I’ll give them a little clap for taking down Bama and just move on without gloating.

Better for the Vols to keep a low profile right now. Still it is not one of their better efforts.
