Best scenario for Bama missing playoff

So what are the games of interest that could contribute to Bama getting pushed down? If UNLV wins, would Boise stay ranked ahead of Bama? If Clemson wins would SMU stay ahead of Bama? I’m thinking that the loser of these two games will basically get eliminated so there probably isn’t a realistic path to eliminate Bama.

The only scenario is Clemson beating smu and smu not being punished for playing in a championship game because as of now they have smu ranked higher than bama.
