I think the CFP is trying to get Ohio State into the 5th seed position, the question is if Penn State loses will they put them behind or in front of Tennessee. I know for 100% fact they will put them behind Ohio State, but will we be getting PSU on the road or at home is the question?

Agree 100%. If they get blown out by Oregon then it's likely they come here. If they play close, it's likely we go there. If they win? Probably Columbus

Road. Manuel even channeled TCU last night about not moving losers of CCG's.

There's no chance that clown lets us host a game (especially against one of his Big 10 brothers).
So if they lose are they staying ahead of Ohio State who they lost to at home? I doubt that.. Maybe, but I doubt that.

I forgot about ND, so maybe they are trying to get Ohio State to the 6th seed position. I just don't see why they would want a rematch possibly of OSU and Oregon the 2nd game of the play off if we lose. I mean I know they would love to make it hard on us, but making it hard on Oregon and OSU, no.

Well SMU has to move somewhere if they lose because Clemson will be getting in. Same for Oregon or Texas. The have to move to at least to number 5 if they lose.

It is not a conspiracy. OSU has a better resume period. We have beat the number 11 team, they have beaten the number 3 and the number 9 team. They lost by 1 point at the number 1 team and we lost at the number 5 team by 14 points. We both lost to bad teams in Arkansas and Michigan. They lost at home but it is arguably the biggest rivalry in CFB. I do not think they are manipulating anything because no one wants to see Texas UGA for a third time but that is how it would play out currently. The ACC is much more pissed off about Miami than the SEC would have been if Bama had been left out. Miami has beaten nobody and Alabama has looked like a dominant team in SOME games where Miami had to come from behind in multiple games. It could have gone either way. I promise you Notre Dame would rather play Miami.

I hope ND beats the brakes off Alabama. The way Alabama has been playing, there is no telling. I do think that TN puts the nail in the coffin for Ryan Day tho. In Columbus or Knoxville it doesnt matter. I have always thought the BIG10 is overrated. Ohio State may have the most expensive roster in the country but that doesnt matter when they are poorly coached and soft as charmin.

Dude.....Ohio St is NOT jumping past Notre Dame. It just isn't happening. Period. Let it go

The simplest explanation is the most likely…they’re just ranking the teams as they believe them to be and not “trying to get x team to any particular seed”

The pucker factor if they see Bama as their game will increase 10 fold. Bama isn’t even that good, but they’ve shown that they’re better than Miami IMO. Miami has lost 2 of 3 and are 2 VERY questionable calls from being 8-4 against a pretty weak schedule . They beat Florida badly on Labkr Day weekend. If they played right now, I might take the Gators.

I would definitely take the gators today. Totally different team with Lagway, and even better than with Lagway against us now

The Gators will definitely be the offseason media darlings for 2025. Everybody needs to prepare for that. They’ll be the trendy top 10-15, CFP pick.
