Sorry for the new post. These deserve to not get buried in a thread somewhere.

“Have never seen so many opposing fans in my 30 years of attending home games. This is insane. The stadium is going to be over 30% Tennessee based on what Columbus looks like right now”

“I’m seeing same thing. I own a bar downtown and have never seen anything like this. Been here since ‘85 and this is the first time an outright majority of clientele are opposing fans.”

“Really not sure what is going on or if anti-day fans sold tickets but at this point it’s not just rumors that Tennessee fans are here in huge numbers.”

“Seriously impressive how much orange is downtown right now, but also could be embarrassing for us if our home field has splotches of Orange for whole world to see in prime time”

I’m still rummaging through posts. The best part is I know of a ton of people waiting to leave tomorrow if they think tonight is alot of orange.

I was watching the and old clip from the 95 Citrus Bowl and I think Thad Matta may really be John Cooper.

People talk trash about the state of Ohio in general, but I honestly love Columbus. It will be really cool to see so much Big Orange in my second city tomorrow. I’m gonna feel like the Irish dude from Braveheart lol, “MY ISLAND! (In the cornfield sea).”

Ohio is cesspool overall, but I truly love Columbus. We went up there for March Madness in 2019 and loved every minute of our time there. Such a great city, well laid out (at least downtown) and German Village was such a blast. Their campus was even nice to explore, huge and sprawling but it’s no “The Hill”.

Thought it would be different this time, but the amount of Orange already in downtown is truly amazing.

So far, everyone has been pretty cool. Bar people looked at us like we had three eyes when Rocky Top started.

Indeed. Ohio sucks azz. I hate Ohio. But Columbus is the lone bright spot.

This is awesome!!! Truly struggling to temper my expectations but it’s not working!!!!! I wanna put the ball on the grass and WTFA……….. I truly hope that the shoe is a home field advantage for our beloved VOLS and we are the talk of the playoff coming outta tomorrow night!!! I do believe we have the talent to dominate this game ……BUT we have to come out and play all 4 quarters of the game and open up the playbook and not get predictable. It’s up to the players and the staff to get the most out of those players. Can’t take no plays off!!

I am in downtown Columbus and our hotel is full of vols fans. They were talking about it when we checked in too, they said it's going to be all Tennessee fans in the stadium.
There’s more coming. It’s 2 am and my drive is over , but there were tons of tn plates on the road. It’s gonna be crazy

From their message boards about Tennessee fans being in Columbus -

"Tennessee fans are just doing the most on social media because this is literally their super bowl. A win in the The Shoe tomorrow would be Top 3 in program history."

"I saw a Tennessee fan at Kroger tonight and he was spitting tobacco juice on the floor on each aisle."

Typical Yankee stuck up snobby jackassery.

On the SEC coming to Columbus -

"The SEC heavyweights are a handful, luckily Tennessee is not one of them."

On Nico Iamaleava -

"Tennessee's QB is the best thing we have going for us, and what gives me a glimmer of hope. If we can contain the dreaded QB draw we always seem to struggle with, Nico could have a rough night. It doesn't take much pressure to get him in panic mode and then he can really make some bizzare decisions."

"Nico was the number one reason why I haven’t been too concerned about this game.. He seems to get flustered easy and it really bogs their offense down at times."

"This is easy. In a game of pick-up, I think everyone would take Howard as their first choice."

One of the most arrogant fan bases I’ve ever seen
