28 degrees expected at kickoff. Downright balmy.

The AccuWeather forecast seems to be for the low temperature during the game (at the end). I have seen several forecasts that say kickoff will be around 26 F and 22 F by midnight.

Perfect football 🏈 weather. I played in the Tennessee state championship game back in 1980 early December colder than this game tonight . Against oak ridge. I went school at jcm. Jackson central merry. Al Wilson s. school.

With steady winds the wind chill will be below 20. Mostly just want to protect your hands and ears since you won't be moving around. Players will feel it but it won't affect them much so long as they stay warmed up.

Coach has taken temp off the table.

Looks like a whopping 5 degree difference start to finish from Neyland. Move on.

Maybe we provide the team a habanero laced Red Bull as they put on those Citrus Bowl leftover replacement cleats pregame. Would love for the team captains to go to midfield for the toss with 2” cleats just for grins.

Desmond just said the cold will affect the Vols, the better running team in this game. As if Knoxville is South Florida this time of year.

It amazes me that these tv clowns act as if it doesn’t get cold in Tennessee. With all the BS they’ve been spewing you’d think Knoxville is in the Bahamas
