Tons of disappointment in the locker room from everyone that is invested. I think this is a direct shot at the players. I love it. We saw a lack of effort and want too. Big changes coming, I believe some of these upperclassman may have become stagnant and their lack of effort spread throughout the football team as we saw tonight. No leaders on the field.

Once you make life changing money, you lose that drive.

How about scheming up a waggle route?

Well, via Spyre and others, we sure invested in the players. Fans absolutely invested a helluva lot coming to this game. The players were not worthy of the fans tonight.

Sure we had injuries with Sampson, Squirrel, Thornton out and sure, refs didnt call any of the holding or PIs and sure, Nico is a freshman QB and yes, it was cold but the level of effort out there (except by Nico who played hard but not smart), the team just layed a turd and gave up. They had no heart. I dont know why but it was a fact that they didnt fight for it. Sooooo many missed tackles and dropped passes I cant even count.

That NIL money really makes you care about your football program. Man, Mike Leach (god bless him) would get rid off all the chairs on the sideline if he saw players lolligagging around on the field. Huep should have done the same thing LOL

Yeah, no. Don’t blame this shitshow on NIL. We went up against the team making the most money in college football. And the most ruthless competitors you know in sports made killer money.

NIL didn’t make Banks and Martinez line DBs 15 yards off the line of scrimmage on 3rd and 4. NIL didn’t make Heupel kick field goals down 21 and punt on 4th and short on the Ohio State side of the field. Same **** we have seen all year, but we went up against a competent team.

Who knows what that means. And putting one sentence out of context doesn’t help ppl discern for themselves. Post the vid next time along with your opinion.

You have to tread lightly with discipline, the portal is just around the corner.

I think he means the guys that entered the portal. Some of those guys probably knew they were leaving and just hung around the team. I mean we had to play our 3rd string RB most of the game and true freshman at multiple Wr spots some of the guys Kaleb Webb and Chaz Nimrod specifically wasted valuable snaps that could have went to guys that were invested

How about we get an apology for going to 12 teams and this stupid format?
8 Teams stop that embarrassment. The format kept Tenn from getting a home game against a formidable opponent.
Tennessee doesn’t deserve to complain about the format because we would have shat down our legs regardless. We would have lost a home game against a formidable opponent because we really only played against one of those all year during the regular season, and they beat us fairly easily. We have hung our hats on beating a team that got blasted by a bad Oklahoma team and lost to Vanderbilt. And we only thumped our chests over it because their last coach was really good.
