Another poster made a comparison to the bowl game vs Nebraska in 97. Physicality dominated in that game from the start. If everyone recalls, the same thing happened to Florida 2 years prior. They played Nebraska and got whipped and the following year they won it all.

The question going forward to know if CJH is the man, will be how does he react to this loss as well as what needs to happen to play better on the road?

It seems to me that the best road game we have played in the last 4 years was against LSU 2 years ago. Why? The answer is simple. Recovered a fumble on the kickoff, scored quickly, got up and took the crowd out of the game.

I know the defense played like crap last night, but honestly if the defense had not played as well as they have all season, we loose at least 2-3 more games.

Will we return to the fast pace offense we had 2 years ago? You can’t run this system part time for it to work,

Bottom line is we have to score more points in the first quarter, home or away.

I think we'll need to get aggressive like OM and go get best players available for our deficiencies. Ultimately, we need better OL play, and WRs who can get separation. I was quite frankly very surprised at the lack of targets to TE position... WRs weren't getting open, and we've got decent TEs who generally are a good safety blanket.

11 players went to the portal, last number I saw, and that would have been some needed depth for last night. Sampson hurt on first series, done for the night. What happened to Campbell late in the game? Dayne Davis was right tackle in the 2nd half, at least some of it. He would get beat at the line of scrimmage and would be chasing his man, who would sack Nico.

Needs are glaring. Offensive line, both starting and depth, wide receiver is a big area of need going forward. Same with running backs, Sampson likely moving on, especially after getting injured in the last two, three games. He needs to go on to the draft while he can. Secondary needs some lock down DB's, safety's, defensive line, linebackers, and maybe most everyone on here are right, a new secondary coach.

I'm not taking anything from the teams results this year. They exceeded most prognosticators prediction for there record, and made it to the playoffs. The result from that sucks, but there were a lot of teams that weren't there. Onward and upward from here.

GO VOLS!!!

I remember that game vs. Nebraska. Peyton, Jamal Lewis, Al Wilson, couldn’t get it done. Last night was like that. Man-handled from start to finish.

Whomever evaluated Campbell needs to be put on suspension. He’s terrible.
