We had a bad match but it is what it is. Difference between us and everyone who win yesterday is they got to play teams like SMU, Indiana, and Clemson. We would have rolled all of them. But….we didn’t.

I think we could have beat penn state but oh well.

We must recruit, and develop. Transfer portal is huge. And CJH why can’t we get it right after bye weeks? What’s up with that?

The question to this lies within his staff. Need better developers at a few key positions and few more players at those positions

Yes, yesterday was a terribly gut wrenching defeat but we ran into a buzzsaw, to put it mildly. That happens sometimes when you play a team with that much talent. We'll be back next august better than ever.
How do you know we will be better? Need better coaches and a lot of portal help

Tough pill to swallow last night but I'm still hopeful for the future. 10 wins with two being over AL and FL is a pretty dang good season. But, for a multitude of reasons, this team just wasn't able to reach the next level.

Really would like to believe this.

Ain’t it laughable. To out it another way, some of these fans are fantasizing about an easier game. "Maybe if they would've put a weaker opponent on the field." Play the hand you're dealt. OSU had 2 L's coming into the game like us.

They played the game of their life yesterday. I don’t see them repeating that performance, they haven’t played that good all year.
Seems we bring that out in teams. Going back to Hooker's last game against South Carolina, or the Missouri game in 2023. Just complete meltdowns on the road and combined with the ball not bouncing quite right. I hate swimming in other teams ponds.

Are we that bad, or are they that good? Asking for a friend.
They lost to the #1 team in the nation by what 3 points? OSU is a really good team. People want to use the Michigan game to say they aren’t that good. That’s dumb. That’s a huge rivalry game just like the iron bowl. Saban lost to inferior Malzahan several times.

Jeremiah Smith is just flat out amazing. It doesn't matter how well you can develop WRs, if you have a guy like Jeremiah Smith on your team he is gonna ball out because he is more talented than 99% of the receivers in the country. He'd probably be a top 10 pick this upcoming draft if we were eligible now. I honestly don't know how OSU lost to Michigan with the skill players they have.

That being said, we made OSU's defense look amazing. While they are a talented bunch, there is no reason this offense should look that flat. Missing Sampson certainly didn't help, but we've got to get less predictable with our play calling.

It also didn't help that the refs were horrendous on Saturday. 2 critical missed DPI's (one in the end zone). Multiple missed holding penalties against OSU (and blatant ones at that).

If that didn’t embarrass the players, nothing will and that is not a good thing
