Josh Heupel has two major issues to address that fall squarely on him
3) becoming worse after a bye week
3) becoming worse after a bye week
Universities aren’t the ones drafting NIL. It’s between the athlete and a third party. You’re not going to police either of those. System is really screwed due to the timing of everything, playoffs, academic calendar etc. Coaches, schools, everyone is making millions to billions off games so a lot of these guys are thinking and negotiating for their futures during time they should be concentrating on the playoffs.... And NiL needs to evolve at light speed. Contracts need to be drafted with language that penalizes everything boneheaded, everything. These kids want big paydays and are in the right profession. However, they are not being held to a professional standard and are acting as such. Set limits on numbers of penalties for certain positions, and I mean all schools should buckle down on this. Set expectations that nurture immature millionaires to act professional and earn their fortune, and let the knuckleheads be found out and labeled until they change their ways...
This is 100% FACTS. Bobby Knight said it best, “there is NO better motivator, than your ass on the BENCH, ass meets bench, bench retains ass, ass transmits signals to brain, brain transmits signals to body, body plays better, ITS A HELL OF A PROCESS TO WATCH WORK”.4) Discipline is an issue he better get squared away PDQ.. Four years in and still seeing boneheaded, drive killing penalties... If some of these players can't get their heads out of their a$$ then there is a nice spot on the bench for them...
