Cameron Carr Transferring

I'm normally all for a player transferring or doing what they think is best.

But this is seriously a WTF moment when you think about it. We're already short handed and you would've thought he would've be in line for big minutes when he got healthy. Transferring in the middle of a season from the #1 team. Speaks volumes to where this guy was at mentally as me first type of player.

Wonder if he ends up playing somewhere in January? Why do this if not. Is it legal to talk to a player enrolled somewhere before they announce their intent to transfer?

Writing may have been on the wall. I believe Carr missed the last two shows on his show with JP. I don't get why you would not finish out the season though. He is going to have to sit wherever he goes.

This one is weird, but honestly the NBA TALENT thing was kind of annoying. He is an athletic SEC basketball player. Nothing really popped out to me in his time here. I said It before the season, leaving scholarships open is a recipe for disaster. Depth will get us at some point this year.

Edit: before I'm bombarded, I love Barnes and this team. No complaints. Just concerned about depth.

From Trilly Discord. Wild

“He was on track to be a 10-15 minute a game guy when he got back in a few weeks. Some people around him think he would be better off preserving a year of eligibility and starting over where he’s higher on the totem pole than using a year as a 9th man coming off injury. Staff is not happy at all.”

Are we sure he has to sit in this crazy new world with no rules. I really don’t know which is why I am asking?
