I’m sure this has been discussed several times before, but our best teams in recent history, has had a mobile QB as a threat. Not the greatest passers, but adequate. It covers up middling off. line and wide receiver play.
since it appears we are unable to recruit, high school or portal linemen and receivers of high level maybe the Vols should look at this option. Nico seems fast but unable to cover up others lack of talent or effort.
just a thought.

It's good that your QB can scramble, but you are using one playmaker instead of 4-5. And if that one most important gets hurt........ The idea of this game is to be better at the LOS and let your skill people do their jobs.

You must smoke crack too often! Recent teams? You mean from when to when? What teams and QB's are you referring to? Hendon could run, but he was a passer first.

Think about your comment for a second before you post it.....are you trying to say Peyton was mobile? Tee was a passer, 21 straight completions was a record until recently. Iceman was a passer, Ainge, Bray, Dobbs all were passers first.
