If CH don't make changes, 2025 offense will be worse. I don't think players are buying into Hazlie / Pope anymore... Golesh was the one who directed Hooker and Milton, to be in the right time at the right place. Can't remember the wide receiver coach, but he was good. And moved on.. Along with success comes departure of coaches.. Don't blame any of them for trying to better themselves. Something has to change tho,,, or I have a feeling it aint gonna get no better.

You sound less like the future than simply a negavol from seasons past.

These are getting ridiculous. Make the playoffs with 10 wins while beating Bama Florida and Oklahoma and it's not good enough. You guys realize that Sampson, Thornton, and White were all missing correct? That's the 3 top producing players on offense. Let's not forget Pili, which is the underneath guy on defense. Complain complain complain.

Heupel, real football fans see that you took a doormat team to a top 10 team in 4 years. We support you.

He's the sort of guy that laughs and instantly forgets about it if/when he sees this sort of feedback

Lost 3 games this season …all at their home stadiums (yeah …OSU looked mighty orange)…two of those teams are still in the playoffs. Arkansas loss was bad for sure. BUT…I don’t see the need to Chicken Little this thing. In fact…I’d say let’s enjoy the basketball teams and get warmed up in the bullpen for Tony V and the Boys soon!! Just my perspective 🤷‍♂️

I remember begging for a 6th win just a few years ago, so Tennessee could go to a bowl game. I became a Vol fan in 2001, and steady watched the team deteriorate....or worse, show signs of life under coach "put your name here", then slowly sink back into oblivion.

I don't have the real life experiences most of you have. I have to watch the 85 Sugar bowl and the 98 championship game on YouTube.

So, are we happy with Mark Richt? 10 wins. loose in the first round of the playoffs. Middle of bowl season, no Vols....for the next 20 years. Last year pretty much the same as this year. I know Heupel has to see what I am seeing. Major two year flat line.

In a playoff era, Mark Richt would have been a perennial contender. Heupel walked into a much different scenario than Smart, who was following a stocked cupboard from Richt. We can't do much better than a Mark Richt record. We'll be in the playoffs every F'ing year.

How is it a flat line? Two of the 3 losses are still in the playoffs and one of those teams has won 2 of the last 3 championships. The other team is loaded with 5* while TN was missing it's top 3 producing offensive players. Heupel has beaten teams that are responsible for 12 of the last 18 national championships. Gimme a break.

So you are saying you would rather miss the playoffs and play in the chesse it bowl?

so, Georgia lost their starting QB and FLOURISHED in the SEC championship game.

Ohio State pulled our pants down and spanked our bottom blue on national TV. The Vols got their ass whooped. You wanna make excuses bout the next man up...whatever..

Who cares how many teams Heupel has beat. He hasn't beat the the right ones at the right time. We are sitting at home with 10 wins. once again

No....that is even worse. But are we just happy with 10 wins and a "lets see what happens next year" outlook for the next 20 years?

That is my question. And be careful what you wish for, because we are one coaching change from from going back to 4 wins a season. I'mt not saying fire Heupel. but what if this is as good as it gets?

Go back and look at the glory days in the 90's. See the records of those teams?

Dude we were ranked in the top 10, have a solid recruiting class coming in, made the first 12 team playoff, were picked 7th and finished 2nd in the SEC.

This was a good year, enjoy it. The sky is not falling. What if CJH makes a change and the offense gets worse - See Fulmer and the Clawfense or the Sunsuri experiment for our defense.

You can ask what if questions all day long. I believe CJH knows more than us about what needs to happen to get to the next level. Trust him.

yeeeeeeeeees, I agree with all off that. First, I became a fan in 2001. I want to see it, i don't want to relive the glory days on youtube.. I want to watch it

Yes it was a super great year. 10 wins in any league is huge!!! But we had a 4 game streak where we couldn't score in the first half (with all our starters!) And the loss to Arkansas with so much on the line? what?

What if Heupel doesn't make a change. Are we going to see the same offense we have seen for the past two years?

Sampson was "player of the year" in the SEC.. That is crazy good., right? That is so impressive for the entire offense, including Heupel and the OC

I guess I'm just being an ass, asking rhetorical, "what-if" questions. im very proud of this team, but there was a lot of meat left on the bone this year!
