Syracuse has a pretty good offense, especially its passing game. I hope our linebackers learn how to defend the pass over the middle or we will get run out of the stadium.

We are pretty young at LB now but I like inge. He will get our guys ready to play. Hopefully our young guys can contribute too. Sammy Brown did a decent job for Clemson as a freshman but he’s probably more talented than our recruits.

But I’m excited for that unit.

my take away so far is that Syracuse has a good team. I can’t say exactly how good with this being a bowl game and rosters being fluid. Also no idea how good Washington st is this year.

We should win next year but I’m also nervous because we will likely have 4 new starters on the OL and no returning starters at WR. So wouldn’t be surprised if it take a bit for the offense to click together next year

Washington State had 32 players enter portal. Think about that 11 players on an offense 3 X 11=33. That’s just about 3 starting teams worth of players. They have to be a shell of themselves

He is trying to get another year because OSU burned his redshirt by playing him for a few minutes in a fifth game. Last night, he said he would have a choice to make if the NCAA gave him another year.

If he leaves, Syracuse will be an easy win for the Vols. If he receives another year, UT may have to score a lot of points to win. However, that shouldn't be difficult with the state of the SU defense.
