Bishop Gone? [NOPE]

I don’t understand why he would leave. He got a lot of carries this year. He’s likely RB1 next season. He and Lewis would be a great 1-2 punch.

CFB will need to address this stuff at some point imo. Make em sign contracts like the NFL or something. It’s getting ridiculous. And I’m not totally opposed to the portal because it helped us climb back to relevancy quicker than expected, but eventually they’ll need to clean it up.

Agree 100% but I’ve been told on here and elsewhere that it’s about time the players get paid whatever they can negotiate and be able to leave for a bigger paycheck whenever they want because coaches did it forever. For many, the individual is more important than team. Screw the team, go get yours goes the logic

NIL is fine but it desperately needs restrictions or contracts.

Coaches will eventually retire early because of this.

I was all for NIL but it’s gotten out of hand.

Might as well just follow the NFL.

Practically the same thing right now.
No it's not the NFL, they have contractual agreements. This will help a lot. Sure, there will still be the rouge idiot that quits on his team like Cam did today for Miami. Dude just quit at halftime. Why play at all *******? Just sit the bowl out and they could have bowl practiced the other guy for the whole game. I'm sorry, but that was a ****** move by Cam Ward

For real. People get so testy when you express the sentiment that a little loyalty from the player should be involved. But it’s like every workplace now, people get their feelings hurt, or feel like they “ain’t getting theirs”, even though they’ve yet to prove anything. Then they go and post on four different socials some cryptic message. Then folks whine about being critical of them. If they don’t blow smoke, people won’t look for the fire.
Loyalty creates paydays, paydays don’t create loyalty……just complacency.

I’ve got to find something new to spend my time on. Coming on this board 37 times a day just to get pissed off is getting old. I’m starting to hate college football.
My sentiments exactly. Being an aging curmudgeon has its perks. Glad to have enjoyed college football when it was fun.

This is what you get when you let courts get in your business. Players have zero accountability or responsibility. Just sign, get paid & take a year off due to “injury”. A lot of guys have done exactly this at other schools. Not sure there is a way out now. Even employees can leave at anytime.

I highly doubt CFB even cares.

They’re making money.
