Portal? Let' em leave. There are LOTS of quality players out there. This is the first full year of the new reality of college football, and we will be fine. Remember, almost everyone else is dealing with the same situation that we are.

Yes that is correct. Everyone is having a deal with it and sure maybe you can upgrade when someone leaves? It's really horrible for the players though because most of them are getting absolutely horrible advice, or no advice at all.

Agree and many of them will not even find a new place to play.

It's an unfettered open market for college football. However, it is also an unfettered open market for those of us who watch it and spend our money on it. We determine prices, not players. The market will correct itself because no one is going to be excited about this long term. I for one have very little interest in this kind of college football right now and I believe many will feel the same.

True or end up at San Jose state or some POS school and then portal again next year.

Heard that NFL intros will be hilarious soon....
"Player name - Miami, Washington state, north Texas, Virginia tech"
Saw where Marshall had to cancel their bowl game because they had too many players leave/enter the portal after a coaching change and so another team with a 5-7 record , not sure but think it was Louisiana, filled their spot in the bowl game.

Agree 100%. I started losing interest this past season and as this portal BS plays out the next few days it will decline further. The NCAA in its infinite lack of intelligence royally screwed things up with NIL fiasco coupled with the portal mess.

Yay. Just get new players……that I have no earthly idea who they are. Whoo hoo. Go team — of mercenaries.

There are some solid WRs in the portal now but we better s*it or get off the pot soon or they will be picked up. Especially if we can’t restructure the deal with MM

Addison Nichols left Arkie and now is at SMU. What happened to the better opportunity at Arkie, he started all year.

Oklahoma played their bowl game with 53 scholarship players and 26 of those players were freshman. They had so many defections but did not give up their bowl game.

In fact, they scored a touchdown with 6 seconds left to get within 1 point. Then they did something that I thought was stupid--they went for 2 to win instead of going to overtime. Long story short, they lost by one o_O o_O o_O
